The Last Night Out by Catherine O'Connell Review

It's a hell of a Bachelorette party when you wake up with a stranger in your bed and you're the bride! It gets even worse when you get a phone call saying one of your closest friend is dead.

This book is excellent for any fans of mystery and suspense type books. It was my first book by the author and I loved it! It was well written and captivating. It grabbed my attention from the start.

I really liked the idea of the different POVs, even if they are Maggie's creation for the "manuscript" that comes into Kelly's possession years after the incidents. The author did an excellent job with the twists and turns in the plot as well as with the characters. It's the kind of book where just when you think you have it all figured out, you don't. The end was shocking. I did not see it coming.

It's a must read. Go add it to your TBR now!

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to the author for my gifted copy!

Here's a quick synopsis:
After drinking too much at her bachelorette party, Maggie Trueheart wakes to find a stranger in her bed. To make matters worse, a phone call brings the devastating news that her friend Angie was murdered some time after they parted ways the night before.

Kelly Delaney, who left the party early, is the first of Maggie's friends to face questions from Chicago homicide detective Ron O'Reilly. After taking a closer look at the other women who attended the party, O'Reilly concludes that at least some of them are lying.

As the clock ticks down to the wedding day and more shocking secrets are revealed, the murderer zeros in on another one of the girls. Can the killer be stopped before there is another victim? (Reference : Goodreads)
