One of the many things I love about Nordic Noir novels is the atmospheric writing. They are exceptional at writing books that can make you feel like you are part of the environment. This took place during the winter, and I swear I was cold reading this! They do such a brilliant job at describing the environment and the tiny little details that are happening during the story. I forgot just how much I adore Nordic Noir novels until I picked this one up. These series tend to be many pages, but the short chapters made it such a breeze to read.
