Thank you to Jordan at  St. Martin's Press for this amazing surprise package! I absolutely love it and I'm very excited to be able to share one copy with one of my followers! Check out my Instagram for a chance to win a copy of A Stranger On The Beach by Michele Campbell, one of the year's most anticipated books! (winner will be chosen on Saturday, April 6th) Here's a quick synopsis: There is a stranger outside Caroline's house. Her spectacular new beach house, built for hosting expensive parties and vacationing with the family she thought she'd have. But her husband is lying to her and everything in her life is upside down, so when the stranger, Aiden, shows up as a bartender at the same party where Caroline and her husband have a very public fight, it doesn't seem like anything out of the ordinary. As her marriage collapses around her and the lavish lifestyle she's built for herself starts to crumble, Caroline turns to Aiden for comfort...and ...
Thank you  HBG Canada for my gifted copy of Dragonfly by Leila Meacham. This title is set to be published on July 9th, 2019. Here's a quick synopsis: At the height of WWII, five idealistic young Americans receive a mysterious letter from the OSS, asking them if they are willing to fight for their country. The men and women from very different backgrounds--a Texan athlete with German roots, an upper-crust son of a French mother and a wealthy businessman, a dirt-poor Midwestern fly fisherman, an orphaned fashion designer, and a ravishingly beautiful female fencer -- all answer the call of duty, but each for a secret reason of his or her own. They bond immediately, in a group code-named Dragonfly. Soon after their training, they are dropped behind enemy lines and take up their false identities, isolated from one another except for a secret drop-box, but in close contact with the powerful Nazi elite who have Paris under siege. Thus begins a dramatic and riveting cat-and-mo...
I first heard about You'd Be Mine by Erin Hahn on Instagram. Someone I follow had posted about how much she loved it so I decided to check it out and I absolutely LOVED it too! I guarantee, this book will break your heart and then make it sing! As a big country music fan, I loved the music and the writing. The characters are easy to connect with. The inner conflicts are relatable and the pace is perfect for the story. The realness and rawness of Annie and Clay, the two main characters, was admirable and the romance between the two was heartbreaking. You just want them to get over their demons and let themselves be together. They are both teenagers with a hurtful past they are still trying to grieve through but they make such beautiful music together. They complete each other perfectly.  I usually don't read much YA romance but it definitely made the top of my favorites! I swooned, laughed and cried through the whole book. It was simply amazing and I didn't want...
I received this book as a gift and had no idea what I was getting into or who Natasha Preston even was. After reading this book I would be very curious and interested in reading all of her other books! The first thought I had after reading this book was, this was for sure geared for a younger crowd. I would definitely categorize this as YA thriller, and I think if I was younger this probably would have been 5 stars. Since it is more YA, I was a bit more pessimist regarding the aspect of the romance in this novel. It revolves around a high-school romance, and all I could think of was “that’s never going to last just get over it”. I know that probably beats the point of the romance, and the power that love had for Summer but still I just couldn’t get over that fact. Also, since this is YA there as some scenes that were not described but were mentioned in a subtle way, and I really appreciate Natasha doing this in this particular story. It was very well written and done wit...
I was given Six Of Crows as a gift and since I am not a lover of Fantasy novels, I didn't know what I was getting into. Give me an intense thriller but Fantasy is not really for me.  It took me a while to get into this novel. It's not my preferred genre and so having to figure out all the characters and the setting was a bit tougher than I thought. The plot in this novel is complicated but once I had it somewhat figured out, I was able to enjoy the book.  There are six main characters with different POVs and to me that made the book difficult to understand. I was constantly trying to memorize things to try to understand better. The story is action-packed that guarantees the reader's interest. The characters are well-written and even though they are not the best of friends, they all come together for a common mission, and each one has their own purpose. They all have their own reasons to partake in the mission. The main characters are all badass and I especi...
Little Black Lies was my first read from Sharon Bolton. I liked the author's writing style. The reader could clearly picture what was going on and understand the setting of the book.  The story is told from three POVs: Catrin, an animal conservationist whose life was shattered three years ago when her children were killed in a car accident. From then, she is a shell of her former self and spends her days planning revenge on the woman who killed her sons. Callum is a Scotsman who's suffering from PTSD due to horrific experiences in the Falkland War. For a time, he was Catrin's lover. The third POV is Rachel. She's Catrin's former best friend and the one who killed Catrin's sons in a moments carelessness. She is overwhelmed with guilt and remorse.  The story did grab my attention and I deeply felt for the parents of the little boys that went missing over the years. The story mainly revolves around those disappearances but only the last few lines of th...

What a thrill ride and a web of lies! This book is such a crazy emotional psychological thriller with so many surprising twists. I got hooked on the first page when we are introduced to Hannah, a frightening and quite frankly very dangerous character! The story goes back in forth between the past and present and I think this is the reason why this book is such a page-turner. You unfold layers of all the secrets and lies with every chapter, and you think you know where and the story is going…until it isn’t! To top things off, the ending left you gasping! The best is when the book ends with a twist of its own! Big thumbs up for this one!  Synopsis When Clara's boyfriend, Luke, disappears, everyone believes that he's left her, but Clara thinks she knows the truth. Recent evidence suggests that Luke had a stalker, and Clara worries that he's been kidnapped. Then Luke's older sister, Emily, who vanished twenty years ago, suddenly reappears. E...
