Corinne has done it again! I won’t deny I did a happy dance when I got the email saying I was accepted as an ARC reader for the last book in the Whitlock Family series. And I must say, I’m extra sad that the series is over because each one of the 4 books gave me ALL the feels! I don’t think I could ever love another series as much as I loved this one. I devoured the Whitlock’s brothers’ books, and I was anxious to read about Brynn’s story, and boy did it not disappoint! Way to end the series with a bang!
Crew and Brynn fell in love 10 year ago, but then Crew suddenly broke Brynn’s heart. They meet again at Rowan’s wedding, and although Brynn tries hard to stay out of Crew’s reach, she can’t stay away when he shows up at her house and asks her to marry him for convenience – he needs a wife so he can win his custody battle, and Brynn needs the money for her father’s liver transplant. It doesn’t take long for their feelings to resurface and their connection to become stronger than ever. As for the chemistry between them? Electrifying!
Crew is the absolute sweetest! The length he will go so his wife doesn’t get hurt. He would burn the world for her. Literally. I could not stop swooning over these two. I could not read the book fast enough, but at the same time, I wanted to savor it because I did not want the series to end.
This is another top favorite of mine. I’m looking forward to her next series.
