Always Only You |  Chloe Liese | Pub: 8/4/20   “That I deserve love for being exactly who I am. That the person worthy of my love will love all of me.” After reading the first Bergman Brothers book by Chloe Liese, I immediately know she was going to be an auto-buy author for me. So I preordered the second Bergman Brothers book and it did not disappoint. Always Only You is about Ren Bergman and Frankie Zeferino. Ren plays professional hockey and Frankie handles all of the team’s social media. Frankie also has two disabilities- Rheumatoid Arthritis and Autism. This book was faster paced than Only When It’s Us, but the sexual tension was still high because Ren and Frankie aren’t allowed to be together because of their jobs for the same team. My absolute favorite part of these two Bergman Brothers books is that one main character has a disability. In Only When It’s Us, Ryder has the disability (he is a Bergman) and in Always Only You, Frankie has the disability. As I sa...
Another Karen Rose book, another 5-star read! My first Karen Rose book was the first book of this series, the Sacramento series, and this was book #2 so I was SOOO excited when I learned it was coming out! This book did not disappoint at all, and that’s saying a lot since there’s like 600 pages in this book, but I devoured it! This is a romantic suspense novel, and let’s just say that it was steamy!!!! Which I’m all about! I already loved the character from book #1 but really loved this book because it dug deeper into Mercy’s and Gideon’s past. In addition, I feel like we get to know the Sokolov better as well! Excellent book! Couldn’t put it down and amazing ending! I cannot wait for the third book in the series! Also, I am making it my mission to read all of Karen Rose’s book! So stay tuned! If you haven’t read anything from her, please just pick one up! They are by far my favorite books!  Synopsis Mercy Callahan thought she’d escaped the cult decades ago, but its long finger...
From Blood and Ash |  Jennifer L. Armentrout | Blue Box Press|   Pub: 3/30/20   “You make me proud.” As I have said before, 2020 is the year I am really into fantasy books. Natalie and I have been buddy reading quite a few. She read From Blood and Ash first and encouraged myself and April to read it. April has only just started though. I flew through this book. I started it on Monday and finished this morning. It’s a long book, 613 pages so being able to finish in 5 days on top of working every day, I am proud of myself. Poppy is the Maiden, the Chosen and she has had to live a life that isn’t her own. Always veiled, not allowed to speak, not allowed to do anything basically. She still manages to get herself in a fair amount of trouble though, so there is that. All Poppy wants to do is live her life her way. Then she meets Hawke and things get interesting. As with most books, if I go into more details it is just going to spoil everything. Just know that this is a ve...
