I absolutely loved this book! It was my first buddy read and we had said we would read 10 chapters per week but we ended up reading it super fast. Loved the author's writing style and the short chapters. Everything was to the point and not overly detailed so the reader would get bored. The way the story was told was almost like Erin was telling the story herself. Every chapter read left me wanting to know what would happen next. I would definitely recommend!
My rating: 5 stars

I've been wanting to read this book for a long time now and I'm glad I finally came around to reading it! I was not disappointed!
First of all, the beginning of this novel …
I don't even want to explain it because I want you to be surprised when reading it!
I really loved the first-person narration in this novel. It felt like a friend was telling me a very suspenseful story! With that being said, I also really enjoyed the writing and the writing style. The author was really good at describing the scene without never-ending descriptions. For example, one chapter they are doing something, the next chapter, three months as already passed, and they are somewhere else. I like that kind of style since I hate when the story drags on and on.
My only complaints are that the ending was rushed, and some pieces of the story were kind of pointless in my opinion. Some storyline could have just been omitted altogether. I still did enjoy the ending and it was a fast-paced thriller, especially at the end!
