The Affair by Sheryl Browne Review

I knew this was going to revolving around an affair, but I didn't know that right from the start it would be about the affair. However, this story is not just about the affair, there are many events that happen in a short amount of time, and it keeps the story very interesting and is pertinent to the affair. It's easy to point fingers at Alicia for the affair, but by the end, you understand what truly happened and I had lots of sympathy towards the character.

However, as much as I like the premise, I found that sometimes it was dragging, and there was a lot of repetition. I think the story could have been shortened, but overall I did enjoy this book!

I absolutely loved the ending! Some people might not like it because it will keep you guessing, but I found it was a perfect ending and unexpected ending.

Thank you to Bookouture for providing me with an electronic ARC of this book via NetGalley. As usual, my reviews are my honest and unbiased opinions.

In order to keep her secrets, Alicia has to tell yet more lies and when a devastating car accident makes the situation even more dangerous, it’s only a matter of time before everything falls apart. Can secrets really stay hidden forever?
