I've heard so many great things about Sandie Jones' novel The Other Woman but have yet to read it. I received an ARC from Minotaur Books of The First Mistake and I couldn't be more excited to read it! It was one of my most anticipated reads of the summer.
Although I thought it was slow paced and took a while for me to get into the story, I had fun reading this one. I enjoyed the twists and turns and even though I was able to guess some of the outcome, I was surprised by other things.
As the story goes on and things get twisted, it can become hard for the reader to know who to believe. Especially when you get to Part Two with Beth's story. At one point in the book I didn't trust any of the characters.
This is a great summer beach read. The First Mistake is out now so be sure to add it to your summer TBR!
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
