The Secret Mother by Shalini Boland

The Secret Mother is an addictive psychological thriller with an engaging story that keeps the pages turning. It’s action packed from the beginning, and although there was a part where things seemed stalled, I still wanted to know the ending. It was somewhat predictable, but it still had twists and turns that left me turning page after page on the edge of my seat.

Nobody likes to hear when a child goes missing and we all hope for a happy ending. I felt for Tessa as she worked on figuring out who this mysterious child was, while simultaneously dealing with her own grief of losing her children. This is a well written book and I absolutely loved it!

Thank you to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for my digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.
