Her Final Confession by Lisa Regan

This was my first book by the author and I absolutely loved it! It was suggested to me by An Introvert Reads and I was skeptical to read it since I hadn't read the previous books in the series. There were a few question marks as the story went on but it was also exceptionally well written that a new reader could still follow the story.

I have never been a fan of police procedural but after reading Her Final Confession, I am! I loved the fast pace of this book! I didn't want to put it down! It was suspenseful, riveting and a true page turner! I will definitely be checking the previous books in the series as well as putting the next one on my TBR!

Here's a quick synopsis:
When the body of a young student is found on the driveway of a local Denton home, a photograph pinned to his collar, Detective Josie Quinn is first on the scene. The house belongs to Gretchen Palmer, a dedicated member of Josie’s team, missing for the last twenty-four hours.

Working around the clock, Josie is stopped in her tracks when Gretchen hands herself in to the police. She knows that there’s no way Gretchen could ever be a killer, so why would she confess to a murder she didn’t commit?  (Reference: Goodreads)

Thank you to NetGalleyBookouture and the author for my copy in exchange for an honest review.
