One Of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus Review

I've had this book sitting on my shelf for the longest time and finally decided to read it in September. I'm glad I did! It was an enjoyable read. There was a small part in the middle that felt like they were getting nowhere and kind of boring but the rest was great!

I love a good murder mystery and it did not disappoint! The story follows 4 kids who are suspects in the death of Simon Kelleher, high school student behind their school's gossip app that ruins reputations with it's secrets. All four of them have a secret to hide and would do almost anything to keep it hidden. Somehow, they all end up in detention with Simon and when the period is over, Simon is dead. Who did it? Is it the star of the football team, the Prom Queen who lives in her boyfriend's shadow, the rebel with previous criminal charges or the goodie two-shoes who always follows the rules?

I loved the characters! Loved how Addy was able to finally stand up for herself and that Bronwyn got the hot guy! I was glad they leaned in to each other to try and solve the mystery.

My Rating: 4 stars
