Right Behind You by Lisa Gardner Review

I purchased Right Behind You by Lisa Gardner during a summer vacation and was anxiously waiting to read it. It started really good and promising but as I was reading, it felt like the story started to drag. I started loosing interest but I wanted to finish it anyways. For me, the first 100 pages and the last 100 pages were the highlight of the book. I did not figure out who the killer was and why, at all. I was so far off. It was an okay read for me, but definitely not a page turner.

Here’s a quick synopsis: Eight years ago, Telly killed his abusive parents in order to protect him and his younger sister, Sharlah. They haven’t seen each other since that night. Both are sent in different foster home. Now, Telly’s foster parents are both murdered and Telly is the prime suspect. Sharlah knows he couldn’t do it. He saved her life once, so who is he really? A hero or a zero?
