The Uninvited by J. A. Baker Review

Hello everyone! Mommy Reads here! :) Frist of all, I want to thank Bloodhound Books for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Who doesn't love a good ghost story? Or a haunted house? J. A. Baker has done a great job with this book and will keep you on the edge of your seat guaranteed! This was my first read by the author and I was surprised by how well the story was written and how developed the characters were. I could definitely feel Faye for wanting to move after the traumatic events their family went through and with how scared she felt with the strange happenings in their new house. I thought she was very courageous as I would have packed my bags and refused to stay there another night if it happened to me. Although I figured some of what was happening, it was still a very enjoyable read that I would definitely recommend!

Here's a quick synopsis:
Faye and her family went through traumatic events in their old house and decided to move into Cross House, a big, old rundown house for a fresh start. Soon after discovering old Diaries in one of the closets, Faye starts hearing something or someone wander in their house, or more precisely in the bedrooms while they are sleeping. Faye then takes it upon herself to uncover the secrets of their new house, what happened to the previous owners and who is terrorising her and her family and why.

The Uninvited by J. A. Baker was published on December 3rd so hurry up and add it to your reading list! I promise you will not be disappointed!

My Rating: 4.5 stars
